Petrescu Marcian is considered the Best Blues Harmonica player of the Romanian blues scene.
For 23 years he's been a fierce and dedicated promoter of the "Harmonica Blues" genre, and his work received the seal of approval because of his collaborations with some of the greatest American harmonica masters: Sugar Blue, Charlie Musselwhite, Rick Estrin(who appeared on his studio albums - being the only Romanian blues musician who managed such a performance!). He also appeared on stage with such illustrious names as: Billy Branch, The Blues Brothers, Nine Below Zero & Kenny Neal.
His stage presence, humor, and inspired storytelling are already a trademark, while his amplified sound and approach to the harmonica make him a great attraction at any blues event.
For the 2023 edition of Open Air Blues Festival Brezoi - Vâlcea, Marcian will present a new band, a new sound, a new attitude, and a new album - "MAI MULT DECAT BLUES"("Much More Than Blues").

Marcian Petrescu este cotat în prezent drept cel mai bun muzicuțist de blues din România, cu un sunet și o prezența scenică la același nivel cu cel al omologilor săi din SUA.
Este, de asemenea, solist vocal, textier, compozitor, profesor de muzicuță, technician reparator de muzicute, realizator de emisiuni radio dedicate bluesului și creator al unui sistem de sunet special dedicat amplificării muzicutei, unic la nivel mondial în acest moment.
Este și unicul muzician român de blues care a reușit până în prezent performanța de a avea ca invitați pe albumele sale de studio doi muzicieni legendari din bluesul american, Sugar Blue și Charlie Musselwhite, ambii laureați cu premiul Grammy.
Așadar, sunetul inimitabil al muzicuței de blues va fi prezentat pe scena festivalului de un adevărat erudit în domeniu.
