About artist

🎶 JP Soars’ Gypsy Blue Revue

JP Soars’ Gypsy Blue Revue is one of the most exciting live projects to emerge in recent years – a fiery blend of blues, soul, Americana, and improvisational magic that turns every performance into a transformative experience.

JP Soars & The Red Hots

At the heart of the project is guitarist and vocalist JP Soars, originally from Anaheim, California. His musical journey has been anything but ordinary – from thrash metal to jazz before fully embracing the blues that made him an international name. Based in Florida, Soars has built a reputation as a world-class guitar slinger, with a distinctive tone and a deep, soulful voice.

Alongside him, Cleveland Frederick (bass) and Chris Peet (drums) form the powerhouse trio The Red Hots. With more than a decade of performing together, their tight chemistry is undeniable. In 2022, the trio was nominated for 4 Blues Music Awards, including:

  • BB King Entertainer of the Year
  • Band of the Year
  • Instrumentalist of the Year – Guitar (JP Soars)
  • Instrumentalist of the Year – Drums (Chris Peet)
The Magic of Anne Harris

The addition of extraordinary violinist Anne Harris elevates the project to a whole new dimension. Known for her magnetic stage presence and distinctive style, Harris brings emotional depth and lyrical fire, making Gypsy Blue Revue a performance often described as “a magical, almost religious musical experience.”

What They Bring on Stage

Together, this ensemble creates a sonic journey that defies genres: searing guitar riffs, irresistible grooves, and soaring violin solos filled with passion. Their shows are high-energy, eclectic, and deeply moving — captivating both hardcore blues fans and new audiences alike.

Recognition & Touring

Gypsy Blue Revue has rapidly become one of the most sought-after festival acts in the U.S., shaking stages from Florida and Maine to the West Coast. Critics praise their authenticity, energy, and willingness to push the boundaries of blues while staying rooted in tradition.
