In 2017, we believed that a small mountain town in Romania could become a destination for blues lovers from all over the world.
It was an ambitious dream.

Over the years, that dream became reality.
Open Air Blues Festival Brezoi has welcomed thousands of visitors from across Europe and beyond, hosted some of the greatest names in blues, and created memories that will last a lifetime.
Like the rest of the world, we experienced difficult years during the pandemic. Some editions could not take place, but our passion never disappeared.
Now, in 2027, we celebrate ten years since this extraordinary journey began.
Not simply by looking back.

July 19 - Romanian Blues Challenge
FREE ADMISSION
The celebration begins one day before the international festival officially opens.
On July 19, with FREE ADMISSION, Brezoi proudly hosts 
𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 - Romania's official national blues competition.
The country's finest blues artists and bands will take the stage, competing for the honor of representing Romania at the European Blues Challenge 2028.
Join us to discover the future of Romanian blues and experience an unforgettable opening day.
Everyone is welcome.
Admission is completely free.
Children
Music is even more beautiful when it can be shared across generations.
Children up to and including 14 years of age receive FREE festival admission when accompanied by an adult holding a valid festival ticket or festival pass.

Visitors with a severe or profound disability are entitled to FREE festival admission, and one companion also receives FREE entry.
Visitors with mild or moderate disabilities may benefit from discounted tickets, subject to availability.

Wristband Collection
Festival wristbands can be collected at the Main Entrance beginning July 19, 2027, from 4:00 PM.
Applications will be processed in the order they are received and are subject to availability.
